This past sunday marked the return of the American Music Awards for 2008. Overall the show was good and the performances were decent. To me it seems that celebrities try so hard to be different or stand out they put on wild outfits for the red carpet.

I definitely agree with you on that. entertainers and celebrities definitely put on airs in order to stand out even though they're already celebrities so they ALREADY stand out. Most of the outfits look pretty decent but there are always a few people here and there throughout various awards ceremonies that don't even try and look fashionable. instead, they just try to get attention.
