Nov. 16th marked the end of Mtv's teeny bopper music video show. Mtv's TRL was brought on air 10 years ago and seems to have ran its course on cable television. I think MTV got the message that nobody was watching TV after school anymore ever since sidekicks, texting, and the internet started ruling the tween and teenage world.

Yeah, I agree. MTV's Total request live was once a hot show and now nobody watches it. I could make an assesment that more people, black and white watch BET's 106 & Park every evening at 6:30 p.m. The music request shows became less popular when people started being interested in technology. The television is no longer the only tool to keep young people busy. You made a good point, the sidekicks and smartphones the new "thing." Although I have a good feeling MTV will reign again.
